A true hidden gem from Craigallachie Distillery in Speyside. Carefully selected by Mossburn's master blender to fit into their Vintage Cask Range, this is a beautifully expressive 16 year old whisky, full of gentle nuances and decadent sweetness. The spirit was distilled in 2007 and matured in refill whisky hogsheads for 15 years, before a 1 year finish in Italian Marsala wine cask. Mossburn bottled the spirit in March of 2024 at natural strength of 52.4% ABV, with no chill filtration or additional colouring. 
 
Nose: Very expressive! Apricot jam and ripe peaches soaked in white rum. 
Palate: Gentle notes of hazelnuts and honey, Baklava, peach compote. 
Finish: Long and floral.
