Romain Hénin 'Le Gamin du Terroir'
Romain Hénin is one of this new generation of Champagne grower to watch – after graduating in viticulture in Avize, he was trained for 2 years at Domaine Henri Giraud in Aÿ, growing its interest from organic and biodynamic principles. While working at the Hénin family estate, Romain gradually set up his own domaine of 1.2 hectares since 2016, with a successful conversion to revive the soils.
Romain Hénin is undoubtedly a much talked winegrower for his luxuriant vineyards and his highly original grassing techniques, including fruit trees he plants in his vineyards and his organic and biodynamic cultivation practices.
The Champagne 'Le Gamin du Terroir' by Romain Hénin is a blend of 20% Chardonnay, 40% Meunier, 40% Pinot Noir
